Kismet brings L. Marie Wood's Red Thread Saga to a close

L. Marie Wood's Red Thread Saga reaches its finale on 14 November with Kismet, Book Five. It comes from Mocha Memoirs Press, the speculative fiction small press just down the road from Charlotte in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The publisher's description is brief. A band gets back together after decades apart to go on tour. Old friends reconnect and find a spark they hadn't appreciated before. Both groups are being hunted. Mocha Memoirs calls it "the mind-blowing end of the saga."

The series is a genre-bending mix of mystery and romance. Book One, The Tryst, came out in February 2026 and Book Three, Imprint, in July, so the whole saga has arrived within a single year. Wood is also a horror author and president of the Horror Writers Association.
